As has recently brought to my attention after showing him the awesomesauce I found here --> [link] I now feel compelled to share all forms of most awesome animation in any way, shape, form or being that I come across. So, in addition to the very cool clip I posted above, I have discovered the utmost in "Wikid Cool" animation series. It's called Animusic: Computer Animated Music.

Animusic is an American company specializing in the 3D visualization of MIDI-based music. Founded by Wayne Lytle, it is incorporated in New York and has offices in Texas and California. The initial name of the company was Visual Music, changed to Animusic in 1995.

The company is known for its Animusic compilations of computer-generated animations, based on MIDI events processed to simultaneously drive the music and on-screen action, leading to and corresponding to every sound.

Unlike many other music visualizations, the music drives the animation. While other productions might animate figures or characters to the music, the animated models in Animusic are created first, and are then programmed to follow what the music "tells them" to. 'Solo cams' in the Animusic DVD shows how each instrument actually plays through a piece of music from beginning to end.

Many of the instruments appear to be robotic or play themselves using curious methods to produce and visualize the original compositions. The animations typically feature dramatically-lit rooms or landscapes.

I'm just really surprised that I never once heard about these guys. EVER! I mean, whoa these guys are unbelievably oozing with the awesomesauce that they've all ready got, and I think its time more people learned about them. OMG. It's OVER. It's all. Finally. OVER!!!

After several weeks of disgruntled customers, sleepless nights, fighting with malcontent printers, struggling with mis-measured point of purchase displays, and pulling multiple final project out of my arse, I'm done. I'm done. I survived my finals, the worst of the holiday shopping season has passed and the Fall semester for school has ended.

DONE!!!

Sweet, sweet freedom! I'll now have more free time to work on personal projects, preparing my little portfolio on dA and uploading new SKETCHES! I finally get to hold a pencil again just for the FUCK of it all! WAHOO!

Okay, that's said, now onto the second topic of this journal.

I was given a copy of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days by an oh so very cool friend of mine sometime around Mid-October. However, due to school, work and life, I had little to no time to play and beat the game in the usual 2 week time frame it normally takes me to beat a new game I'm psyched about. Well, the time has now come to pass. I have officially beaten Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days and now, finally, after all this blasted time, I can safely and confidently say: O.M.G! The title actually makes sense!!!! Wow! I mean, I mean WHOA! The game & story are just awesome. Sure it focuses mainly on Roxas and his time with the Organization, but it's a WHOLE more in-depth with the characters than I originally thought. And the ending, oh dear God what an ending that was! To all my KH fans out there reading this. Buy this, do not rent, do not download the emulator, support Square and BUY THE FULL VERSION OF THE GAME!! Worth every penny.

Well, my typing skills are now going to pot, so I'm going to go to bed before these typos get worse.

Hello all. Here's what's good and whats new.

~I gots me a job! At Toys R Us...for the holidays...before Black Friday >.< Mind you, I'm having a LOT of fun. I like my managers & co-workers and I'm bending over backwards busting my ass to hell and high water to keep my spot after the holidays cause I sure as hell need it.

~I am now heavily reconsidering attending SCAD for financial reasons. It's not so much that I can't get in. It's more of the fact that that school is expensive as FUCK and as an undergrad, I'm really beginning to think it'd be better off for Grad school, even though CalArts is my first choice.

~I graduate this Spring officially ending my time at Miami Dade College...and I will be striving to gain acceptance to Insomniac Games' 2010 summer internship. They start taking applications this January, and I'm really really REALLY nervous about getting it, if I even do. I've got a buddy in LA who lives about 30 minutes away from the office, but I'm still iffy about being there. I've never been THAT far away from home (even when I was in Chicago) so I'm really anxious. I mean, if I get this it could mean a chance for a LOT more things to happen and I really don't want to get derailed from my original plans...again

So that's what's been going on. I'm just going about my usual life now added in with a work and school load. The semester is almost over which means finals are going to come crashing down in a tsunami with the stresses of the holiday job load at the crest of the wave. So with that all said, Happy Thanksgiving fellow Deviants and a safe Black Friday to those of you brave enough to dive into the throng of psychotic mothers killing themselves for a talking Muppet...and those who are on the other side of the register.
