Artist's Note 2: Ok, it seems like a LOT of people have been mentioning that I've taken this from The Italian Job so allow me to explain once and for all: The Italian Job was released in 2003. I originally wrote this quote back in 2001. I still have the old notebook that I wrote it in from middle school and when this contest was e-mailed to me, I dug up the old thing and the first thing I turned to was this quote along with several others I'd written back then as well. (I'll post those once I'm done) The fact that it's similar to the quote from the movie is sheer coincidence I swear. I've never even seen that movie. Sure, I've heard of it, but I couldn't tell you jack shit about that flick, let alone remember anything specific like a quote. So, again, my quote, no relation to The Italian Job other than plain old chance.
Artist Note 3:To all those who voted, THANK YOU SO MUCH! I somehow made it into the semi-finals. To all of those who pointed out that this quote was taken from a film, therefore, should be disqualified: Thank you as well. Seriously, I don't like the idea of using another idea that was already used before, and it bugged the hell out of me to find out what I thought was an original idea had already been done. However, your votes spoke volumes and as mush as I REALLY wish my other ideas had made the cut instead, I am ridiculously flattered to have made it into the semi-finals. I highly doubt I'll win come the final judging, but at least I know that I can say I've got the chops typographically wise to get this far. Again, to all those who supported, be it either by voting or pointing out the quote's similarities to The Italian Job, thanks loads, from the bottom of my heart.
